Govt May Mull Demands if Taliban Lay Down Arms: Basher Bilour


PESHAWAR: Provincial senior minister and parliamentary leader of ANP Bashir Ahmad Bilour has said on Friday that government will mull the demands of Taliban if they lay down arms and hold dialogue.
Speaking on the fortieth day death gathering of member provincial assembly late Alam Zeb Khan, Basher Bilour said, “The Taliban in Swat and Bajaur Agency laid down arms before holding talks with government and the government will only think over Taliban demands if they lay down arms in other areas of province.”
Bilour said suicide attacks cannot serve much good to the interests of Taliban instead such attacks will multiply miseries of people and vowed that ANP will not avoid more sacrifices in the best interests of people.
